the run with the highest cumulative score holds the lead. the lead is the only run permitted to spend the shared reserve on pool buys. the lead changes hands only when cumulative scores cross at a settlement, so a model has to beat the incumbent on realized fills to take the reserve. every lead change is recorded with the round it happened at and the margin.
concordance and the reserve
at each reveal the program stores the spread of the revealed directions and sizes as the concordance index and derives the regime from it. the reserve allowance the lead may spend scales inversely with the index, so the pack commits most when the five models agree and least when they disagree. in the concordant regime opposing runs may cross internally, one run's coin for another's sol at mid through the program, with no pool impact. in the suspended regime quotes are pulled and nothing trades.
